Our brownies are shipped as next day delivery by DPD so your brownies will usually arrive the day after dispatch date.
Yes. Our brownies are made to order every Monday and Wednesday and are shipped out the following day to ensure maximum freshness and enjoyment.
TMB is a small online bakery business. As such, our bake days are on Mondays and Wednesdays only. For orders placed between Wednesdays and Saturdays, brownies are baked the following Monday, dispatched on Tuesday, and will usually arrive by Wednesday. Orders placed between Sundays and Tuesdays are baked on Wednesday, dispatched on Thursday, and usually arrive by Friday.
Once your order is placed, you will receive an email notification from TMB and a tracking number from DPD which will allow you to follow the progress of your brownies.
For any changes to your order, please send an email to [email protected], subject heading ‘URGENT – Order No XXXX’, and explain what needs to be changed. Please note, if you wish to change your order you must email us at least 3 working days prior to your dispatch date.
This might be possible. For any enquiries about other brownie slab flavours, please email us at least 48 hours before your dispatch date to see if we can accommodate your request.
We aim to respond to email queries within 72 hours (excludes weekends). If urgent, please state ‘URGENT’ in the subject header.
Cakes
At TMB we use only traditional baking methods and the finest ingredients (real butter, free range eggs, quality flavouring such as vanilla extract) to ensure our cakes taste just as good as they look. We do not churn out cakes in large quantities as we believe in quality over quantity. Every cake we make receives our optimal attention and care.
We do not make gluten free or vegan cakes at the moment, but we hope to be able to do so in the future.
We usually do not deliver cakes. However, we can deliver cakes to the locations listed below for a fee when we have the capacity (delivery fee will range from £30 to £55 depending on the location). (Penge, Beckenham, Sydenham, Brockley, Peckham, Brixton, Crystal Palace, Croydon, Streatham)
Lead time for our custom cakes is 4 to 8 weeks. Lead time for our signature cake collection range is 2 to 4 weeks.
As a small online bakery, we do not have the capacity to take on multiple cake orders in a week and prefer to give our full attention to each cake order. To ensure that your cake order is accepted please try to book at least 4 weeks in advance.
For custom cake orders, please fill in our Cake enquiry form. We will email you within 72 hours to arrange a consultation over the phone. The consultation will give us a chance to discuss your ideas and specific requirements in terms of design, cake flavours and fillings. It should last approximately 20 minutes. Once we have all the necessary info from you we will proceed to work on your cake design which can take a couple of weeks.
Custom Cakes are uniquely designed and created from scratch based on your ideas and requirements. Every element of the cake can be customised. Our Signature Cake Collection is designed by us alone and made to order once selected.
We recommend storing your buttercream cake in a cool area away from strong light and heat. You can also place it in the fridge if you prefer but we advise you take it out of the fridge about 2 to 3 hours before serving to bring it back to room temperature. Once your cake is cut, to ensure maximum freshness and moistness you should cover the exposed part of the cake with cling film or tin foil to avoid air getting into the cake and drying it out.
Shelf life of our cakes is 5 days from the date of delivery. Please note that our cakes can last up to 7 days if you follow our cake storage instructions.
